Fishing is now on fire in my region. The snook are feasting and flying as fast as possible to the flats. We are now netting great bait and the weather is warming up. The spring winds are still a factor, but the bite is on. Clients of mine in the south Tampa, FL region are catching a mixed bag of fish. everything from snook and reds to nice trout and sheepshead. If this warming continues as fast as it is the tarpon should be arriving extremely early, possible mid April instead of May 1st as well as permit on our local offshore wrecks. If you need any information about fishing in the Tampa, FL region let me know.
