I went fishing with John and Bill from Philly today. The fishing was slow but we still managed to catch 30-40 good smallies with a couple of trophy's in the mix. The fish are hard into post spawn and well spread out. We caught the fish on a mix of lures and John threw some oldies but goodies proving that you don't have to update your tackle box to catch fish espesially on the susky. The water level is pretty low and keeping me on my toes when it comes to navigation. Air temp 75 bluebird skies most of the day with clouds towards the end water temp 65 and muddy. We had a great time and I really enjoyed their witty banter and ribbing that continued throughout the day and couldn't resist joining in from time to time. A successful trip for tough conditions here's some fish......
